Giant Eagle
This is the Giant Eagle in Brunswick. Been like this since the Spring. I have mentioned this twice to customer service, but management thinks this is OK. Cashiers I have talked to agree it makes no sense. So, it works like this: You put your groceries on the belt, go up by the cashier and scan your Giant Eagle card, then when it is time to pay you either pay the cashier with cash, or if you are using a card, you have to go back to the beginning of the belt to use the terminal. What? There is now a person there standing on the "Stand Here" sticker. They have also probably started putting their groceries on the belt. Can someone tell me why this makes any sense? These were moved down here to "protect the cashiers".
